Closed Panel Technology builds upon the benefits of Timber Frame and takes it to a whole new level. The wall panels come pre insulated, finished internally with fibreboard ready for plastering, with pre-installed conduit for electrical wiring, external windows and doors are installed in the factory and walls can even come externally finished ready for render.
This vastly reduces the requirement for subcontractors on site, eliminating many of the on site costs, problems, wastage and overruns, providing the developer with one single focused point of contact for many facets of the build.
With the new EU Directive now law in Ireland, this will lead to energy ratings (BER) being required for all buildings. We have an in house fully trained BER assessor who would be happy to go through your plans and give you any advice that may help you achieve a higher rating. Timber Frame houses will inevitably become more attractive to prospective customers than conventional masonry houses, thus leading to quicker sales and higher sales prices
