The Synergy Pod builds upon our Closed Panel Technology utilised in house building and brings a unique twist to the concept of building an extension. It is a very cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to add space and value to your home.
Our Closed Panel walls are manufactured in a factory controlled environment where windows, insulation and a high density plasterboard are all factory fitted, keeping work on site to an absolute minimum. The entire extension is delivered to site and installed within days to ensure the least inconvenience of any building method on the market. In fact you can continue to live in your home with little or no disruption at all.
The Synergy Pod has pre-installed Windows and Doors that are A Rated and combined with an exceptionally low external wall U Value of 0.18 W/m2K ensures the Synergy Pod is extremely warm, light and airy. It also has its own energy efficient heating system so there is no need for messy plumbing work.
We take care of everything from the foundations to the finished roof.

Planning Exempt
The size and dimensions of The Synergy Pod fall within the planning rules relating to extensions at the rear of houses.
Minimum Interruption
As The Synergy Pod is a factory manufactured system, so much of the work is carried out in a dry factory controlled environment where it is much easier to monitor the quality of construction. Work on site is kept to an absolute minimum ensuring minimal disruption to your life but giving you maximum benefit within a short period of time.
Choice & Style
The Synergy Pod offers a wide range of external wall finishes such as stone cladding, Twinson Low-Maintenance cladding and various render colours. We work with two of the largest window suppliers in Ireland so you can also choose from a huge range of door and window frame colours and materials, giving you the opportunity to stamp your own personality on your new extended living space.

20 square meter Pod €31,500 Inc of vat
It is assumed that no planning permission is required or that planning has been approved.
20 square meter synergy Home pod, with one wall bolted to the main house.
Flat roof will be covered with Sintofoil membrane that has a 20 year manufactures guarantee.
External walls will have a 225 x 44 treated timber studs at 600 centres with the internal finish ready for painting.
External finish will be Cementation board with a render finish and/or a composite no maintenance timber finish.
A double door or patio door, in u.p.v.c white of woodgrain finish, up to 2.5 meters wide and 2.1 meters high.

Extra’s
Every extra square meter of living space is €1,100 inclusive of vat
For every extra 5 square meter of living space will have 1.5 meters of door or windows included in price.
Special requirements for doors and windows will be priced accordingly.
For every extra 5 square meter of living space an extra double socket and a light rose is added.
Special requirements for electrical needs will be priced accordingly.
If stone is required on outside of building an extra € 165.00 per square meter inclusive of vat is added.
Plumbing requirements are priced as required.
Planning Exemption Criteria
If the house has not been previously extended, the floor area of an extension must not exceed 40 square meters.
The extension must be to the rear of the property (rule of thumb is that it must not be seen from the road).
If an extension has already been built without planning permission that extension needs to be part of the 40 sq meters.
Other wise from that, a Synergy home extension which is 2.8 meters high with a flat roof will nearly always come within planning regulations.
